The Four Weapons (Yuth Dey Buon)

Kun Khmer is built on the four weapons (Yuth Dey Buon / យុទ្ធដៃបួន): fists, elbows, knees, and kicks. Each weapon has its own range, mechanics, and tactical purpose. Elbows — the signature Khmer strike — are weighted especially heavily because they finish fights and open cuts that opponents cannot recover from inside the round. The four weapons are then connected by clinch work, defense, and combinations into a complete fighting system.

Kun Khmer rules permit strikes to the head, body, and legs. The groin, back of the head, and spine are strictly off-limits. Strikes landing on illegal targets may result in point deductions or disqualification.
