Biography

Meas Chanmean earned his royal nickname "The Elbow Prince" through a career defined by some of the most spectacular elbow knockouts in Kun Khmer history. From Battambang, the same province that produced Em Chhun, Chanmean carried on the tradition of producing world-class fighters from Cambodia's northwest. His slashing elbows were set up with exceptional footwork and feinting that made him unpredictable and dangerous from any angle. Chanmean's SEA Games gold medal in 2011 was a landmark moment for Cambodian combat sports, and his international title under WMC rules proved that Kun Khmer techniques could succeed on the world stage.
